CL AMG: front light H6W disfunc. Changed bulb, still problem. Blown Resistor (or what?) on wire: what value?
2001 Mercedes CL55 AMG. Error message about passenger's front sidelight. Bulb was dead. Replaced bulb with manufacturer H6W. Still error message! Measured voltage on the bulbe: I read 0 volt! Pulled out the wires powering the bulb and saw that there is an electronic component like a Resistor on one of the wires. Issue: the component is completely burnt and I cannot read any information on it (like color code). Question: do you know what that component is? Is it a Resistor? What else? What value?CL AMG: front light H6W disfunc. Changed bulb, still problem. Blown Resistor (or what?) on wire: what value?Which MBz front light are you referring to? A head light, low beam, high beam, park light, or blinking turn signal. My guess is that you have a burned turn signal resistor which is used to time the blink signal. Look at the same light on the other side of the car. That resistor may be still good. It should be marked with the number of ohms of resistance. Replace the burned component.creating file howtoendarelationshipwithsomeon
