there are no red colors on the screen. I took the bulb out and put it back in, but nothing has changed. this tv is a rear projection and is almost five years old. anyone have a clue???I have a big screen sony tv and just the other day we noticed that the colors are mostly green and yellow.?You might have a problem with the video driver for the red lamp. Sony rear projection TV's (especially large screen TVs) tend to burn out pretty quickly compared to other sets. A new bulb will cost you around $200 and another $150 for someone to come out and install it. However, since it sounds like you already know how to do it, save yourself some money and install it yourself.
