Some Question about HIDs?

1.) is it possible to change the color temp of the HID by just changing the bulbs?

2.) (for 10000k HID users only) how was the performance of 10,000k HID on rain? Some Question about HIDs?Yes, the job of the ballast is to step up the voltage from 12v, to an AC voltage of around 20-25k volts. To initially start up the bulb, the controller will breifly pulse a much higher voltage, then slowly lower it to maintain the lamps arc.

The arc inside the bulb vaporises variuous elements giving it color (or no color), and it is the bulb that dictates the color of the lamp.

The bulbs are interchangeable.

I have used every color HID bulb because I sell them, and i have every type you can get. When it comes down to it, you just flat out have less visibility when its is raining period, though with ANY hid bulb (except pink) , visibility is always drastically improved over halogen bulbs without contest.

If you woud liek to order a set of HIDs you can email me.
